What can I use Vibecut for?
Start with recordings where the story is in the conversation: interviews, podcasts, classes, presentations, and livestreams. Import your footage, describe what matters, and review the suggested edits.
Do I need the desktop app?
Yes. The Mac app is where you import local media, refine your timeline, and export video. The web app lets you review synced projects and AI changes, and manage your account. The desktop app currently supports macOS.
Is my footage uploaded?
Cloud video analysis uses a smaller copy, up to 720p. Your original video stays on your Mac and is used for local export. Smart captions use audio prepared from your media. See our Privacy Policy for details about processing and retention.
Can I change an AI edit?
Yes. Review proposed changes, decide which version to use, and keep refining the timeline. Edit history lets you revisit earlier versions instead of starting over.
Why can I download Vibecut before Early Bird delivery?
The available Mac installer is the 0.4.3 developer preview. Downloading it does not place an Early Bird order, start a paid term, or add credits. Cloud tools require account access, credits, and an internet connection.
The separate $5 Early Bird offer covers your first 30-day Hobby term, 100 Creative Credits and 100 Edit Credits. The term and credits begin only when you explicitly activate after delivery. Unused credits remain spendable after the term while your account remains active. There is no automatic renewal; the $12.99/month Hobby subscription is a separate, optional purchase.
Are payments live?
Vibecut is in developer preview. Early Bird and ordinary purchases have separate availability checks in your account. The Trial is a $1.99 one-time purchase with 20 Creative Credits and 20 Edit Credits, valid for 30 days and limited to one trial per account. Account links show the current purchase availability.
Do my credits expire?
Trial credits are valid for 30 days. Subscriptions grant credits each month. Unused ordinary subscription credits do not expire while your account remains active. Top-up credits do not expire, and plan credits are spent first. Failed jobs release their reserved Creative Credits. Successful generation is charged even if you choose not to apply the result.
