Create and correct captionsThe Mac download is the 0.4.3 developer preview installer. Downloading it does not buy a plan, start a paid term, or add credits. Cloud tools require account access, credits, and an internet connection.
The separate $5 one-time Early Bird offer covers a first 30-day Hobby term with 100 Creative Credits and 100 Edit Credits. It starts only on explicit activation after delivery, with no automatic renewal. Unused credits remain spendable after the term while your account remains active. The $12.99/month Hobby subscription is a separate, optional purchase; your account confirms current purchase availability.
Creative Credits cover cloud analysis, Smart Captions, voiceover, and supported creative generation tools. Edit Credits cover cloud-assisted editing. A credit does not necessarily equal one request. The app’s task quote is the amount to review before you run a job.
In Vibecut 0.4.3, Audio only analysis costs 2 Creative Credits per started minute; Video + audio costs 5 Creative Credits per started minute. For a source that needs fresh analysis, its full duration is rounded up separately. A trimmed timeline selection does not shorten that analysis charge.
For example, a single 90-second source costs 4 Creative Credits in Audio only or 10 Creative Credits in Video + audio. Two separate 30-second sources cost 4 or 10 Creative Credits respectively, because each source has its own started minute. Reusing the same source in several clips does not multiply it into several sources. Check the maximum quote before confirming, including when you change the analysis goal or mode.
Manual timeline editing is separate from cloud AI jobs. Successful generation can be charged even if you decide not to apply the result. Failed jobs release reserved credits. If a charge looks wrong, keep the request ID and contact support.
Ordinary subscription and top-up credits do not expire while your account remains active. A subscription grants new credits each month. The separate paid Trial expires 30 days after purchase. Early Bird credits follow ordinary balance rules and remain available after its first term.
See current plan allowances and payment availability. Your account confirms eligibility and current availability before checkout.
Your original media is used for local export. Video + audio analysis processes a smaller video copy, up to 720p. Audio only analysis and Smart Captions process prepared audio; audio-only analysis does not inspect visual details. Creative tools may upload the reference images you choose. AI tools need a working internet connection.
The web workspace is for synced projects, reviewing AI changes, and your account. Importing local media and final export happen in the Mac app. Read the Privacy Policy before processing sensitive material.
